ARGUS, a new and innovative product of GIS Dynamics, is the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and video surveillance. With this tool, users are provided both a visual and spatial means of displaying data as well as the ability to compare and analyze information with surrounding geographic components via live video surveillance.

As a web-based application, ARGUS is accessible anytime, anywhere with an internet connection, username, and password. ARGUS is a hosted service, therefore there is no software to purchase and up keep. Features include the ability to view live video feeds, play back stored video, and export video. Video is stored on a secure server by GIS Dynamics with the length of storage defined by the client. Additionally, users can pan, tilt, and zoom their cameras online.

ARGUS allows law enforcement and criminal justice personnel to effectively plan for emergency response, determine mitigation priorities, analyze historical events, and predict future events.
